Was ist Sublimation eigentlich?

Kurz gesagt: Sublimation ist ein chemischer Prozess, bei dem Tinte unter Hitze und Druck direkt in die Oberfläche eines Gegenstandes "eingedampft" wird.

Der Clou dabei: Die Farbe liegt nicht auf dem Material (wie bei einem Aufkleber), sondern wird Teil des Materials. Das Ergebnis ist extrem langlebig, kratzfest und – bei Textilien – absolut waschbeständig und nicht spürbar.

Dein Starter-Kit: Was du wirklich brauchst

Um loszulegen, benötigst du im Wesentlichen vier Komponenten:

1. Der Drucker (Die Hardware)

Nicht jeder Drucker kann Sublimation. Du benötigst einen Tintenstrahldrucker, der mit spezieller Tinte befüllt werden kann. Beliebt sind hier umgerüstete Office-Drucker oder spezialisierte Systeme wie unser Start001.

Wichtig: Einmal auf Sublimation umgestellt, kann der Drucker nicht mehr für normales Papier und Bürotinte genutzt werden.

2. Sublimationstinte (Der Zaubermittel)

Diese Tinte reagiert auf Hitze. Wir bei TiDis bieten hochwertige Tinten an, die für brillante Farben und tiefe Schwarztöne sorgen. Damit die Farben auf dem Produkt exakt so aussehen wie auf deinem Monitor, helfen wir dir mit speziellen ICC-Profilen.

3. Transferpapier (Der Träger)

Du druckst dein Motiv spiegelverkehrt auf ein spezielles Sublimationspapier. Dieses Papier nimmt die Tinte auf, gibt sie aber beim Pressen fast vollständig an das Zielobjekt ab.

4. Die Heizpresse (Das Herzstück)

Ohne Hitze passiert nichts. Je nachdem, was du veredeln möchtest, benötigst du die passende Presse:

Transferpresse (Flachpresse): Für T-Shirts, Kissen, Puzzles, Metallschilder oder Mousepads.

Tassenpresse: Speziell für zylindrische oder konische Keramikbecher.

Kappen- oder Tellerpressen: Für gewölbte Oberflächen.

Multifunktionspressen: Ein Gerät mit verschiedenen Aufsätzen für maximale Flexibilität.

Das Geheimnis der "Sublimationsfähigen" Artikel

Ein wichtiger Punkt für Anfänger: Du kannst nicht einfach eine Tasse im Supermarkt kaufen und bedrucken. Das Material muss eine Polyester-Beschichtung haben.

Textilien: Sollten einen Polyesteranteil von mindestens 60% bis 80% haben. Je höher der Anteil, desto brillanter die Farben.

Harte Materialien: Tassen, Handyhüllen oder Schiefertafeln müssen speziell für Sublimation lackiert sein.

What is sublimation?

In short: Sublimation is a chemical process in which ink is “vaporized” into the surface of an object using heat and pressure.

The key advantage:

The color does not sit on top of the material (like a sticker) — it becomes part of the material itself.

The result is extremely durable, scratch‑resistant and, for textiles, completely washable and not noticeable to the touch.

Your Starter Kit: What You Really Need

To get started, you essentially need four components:

1. The Printer (The Hardware)

Not every printer can handle sublimation. You need an inkjet printer that can be filled with special sublimation ink. Popular choices include converted office printers or specialized systems like our Start001.

Important:

Once converted to sublimation, the printer can no longer be used with normal office ink.

2. Sublimation Ink (The Magic Ingredient)

This ink reacts to heat. At TiDis, we offer high‑quality inks that deliver brilliant colors and deep blacks. To ensure your printed colors match what you see on your monitor, we provide custom ICC profiles.

3. Transfer Paper (The Carrier)

You print your design mirrored onto special sublimation paper. This paper absorbs the ink but releases almost all of it onto the product during pressing.

4. The Heat Press (The Heart of the Process)

Without heat, nothing happens. Depending on what you want to sublimate, you need the right press:

Flat press: T‑shirts, cushions, puzzles, metal plates, mousepads

Mug press: Cylindrical or conical ceramic mugs

Cap or plate presses: Curved surfaces

Multifunction presses: One device with multiple attachments for maximum flexibility

The Secret of “Sublimation‑Ready” Products

A crucial point for beginners:

You cannot simply buy a random mug at the supermarket and print on it. The material must have a polyester coating.

Textiles: Should contain at least 60–80% polyester. The higher the polyester content, the more vibrant the colors.

Hard substrates: Mugs, phone cases, slate plates, etc. must be specially coated for sublimation.

Qu’est‑ce que la sublimation ?

En bref : la sublimation est un processus chimique où l’encre est « vaporisée » dans la surface d’un objet grâce à la chaleur et à la pression.

L’avantage :

La couleur ne reste pas en surface, elle devient partie intégrante du matériau.

Le résultat est extrêmement durable, résistant aux rayures et — pour les textiles — totalement lavable et imperceptible au toucher.

Ton kit de démarrage : ce dont tu as vraiment besoin

Tu as besoin de quatre éléments essentiels :

1. L’imprimante (Le matériel)

Toutes les imprimantes ne conviennent pas. Il faut une imprimante jet d’encre pouvant être remplie d’encre de sublimation. Les imprimantes bureautiques converties ou les systèmes spécialisés comme notre Start001 sont très populaires.

Important :

Une fois convertie, l’imprimante ne peut plus être utilisée avec de l’encre classique.

2. L’encre de sublimation (L’ingrédient magique)

Cette encre réagit à la chaleur. Chez TiDis, nous proposons des encres de haute qualité offrant des couleurs éclatantes et des noirs profonds. Nous t’aidons également avec des profils ICC adaptés.

3. Le papier de transfert (Le support)

Tu imprimes ton motif en miroir sur un papier spécial. Ce papier libère presque toute l’encre lors du pressage.

4. La presse à chaud (Le cœur du processus)

Sans chaleur, rien ne se passe. Selon l’objet à personnaliser, il te faut la presse adaptée :

Tu ne peux pas acheter n’importe quelle tasse au supermarché. Le matériau doit être recouvert de polyester.

¿Qué es la sublimación?

Tu kit de inicio: Lo que realmente necesitas

1. La impresora (El hardware)

No todas las impresoras sirven. Necesitas una impresora de inyección de tinta que pueda cargarse con tinta de sublimación. Son populares las impresoras de oficina convertidas o sistemas especializados como nuestro Start001.

Importante:

Una vez convertida a sublimación, la impresora ya no puede usarse con tinta normal.

2. Tinta de sublimación (El ingrediente mágico)

Esta tinta reacciona al calor. En TiDis ofrecemos tintas de alta calidad con colores brillantes y negros profundos. Para que los colores coincidan con tu pantalla, te proporcionamos perfiles ICC.

3. Papel de transferencia (El soporte)

Imprimes tu diseño en espejo sobre papel especial. Este papel libera casi toda la tinta durante el prensado.

4. La prensa térmica (El corazón del proceso)

Sin calor no ocurre nada. Según el producto, necesitas la prensa adecuada:

Che cos’è la sublimazione?

Importante:

Una volta convertita, la stampante non può più usare inchiostro normale.

2. Inchiostro sublimatico (L’ingrediente magico)

Reagisce al calore. Da TiDis offriamo inchiostri di alta qualità con colori brillanti e neri profondi. Forniamo anche profili ICC personalizzati.

3. Carta transfer (Il supporto)

Stampi il motivo specchiato su carta speciale che rilascia quasi tutto l’inchiostro durante la pressatura.

4. La pressa a caldo (Il cuore del processo)

Senza calore non succede nulla. A seconda dell’oggetto:

Σημαντικό:
